This is a just a mini round ice cube. the picture shows an outline of a smiling face.
You do not see a smiley face at all. You see a small tiny round circle cube that melts so fast.
I got stuck paying $8.00 for this junk. Now it is reduced to 3.66
You would still be wasting your money and time. THe tray is so flimsy, hard to fill.
If the mold was larger and had maybe a dozen ice cubes. not so flimsy that could work

My kids have food allergies, so each year at Halloween I melt down some allergy-safe chocolate chips and use candy molds to make chocolates for them. I wrap my homemade chocolates in aluminum foil and trade them to my kids in exchange for their candy that they can't eat.
This year I made smiley chocolates in these molds. They came out great! The eyes and smiling mouth were very clearly visible. I used a chopstick to poke the melted chocolate deep into the grooves, to make sure it reached everywhere with no bubbles.
I'd been using plastic candy molds in past years, but I was worried about so many plastics being toxic, so this year I switched to silicone because it may be safer. The big difference that I notice between these molds and my old plastic candy molds is that these are are much bigger. I made seven big smileys (maybe 2 inches in diameter) and nine Easter Island statues (from these: Fred & Friends Stone Cold Ice Trays) with the same amount of chocolate that I'd usually use to make a zillion little chocolates. My kids seemed content to have fewer big chocolates instead of more little ones.
These trays are a little floppy, so it was trickier to get them into the fridge than the stiff plastic trays I used to use -- I put these on a cookie sheet to move them, and that worked very nicely. These were easier to unmold than chocolates in plastic trays, because the silicone is very flexible.
Now that I've done chocolates, I want to try using these to make ice!

This ice tray is fantastic! The ice is easy to get out of the mold and makes a beautiful smiley face. I only have two minor complaints, the first being that you cannot stack them. Second, the tray is small, so if you're like me, and you like a decent amount of ice in your glass or bottle, you have to use an entire tray. Other than that, these are great and brighten my day every time I use them! :)

Great fun little tray - ice cubes turn out perfectly every time - use food coloring to make them different colors - kids love them.

I was a little concerned that the ice mold wouldn't come out as a reviewer called "DV" mentioned. However the mold came out fine and didn't melt fast either. The ice does have a noticable pronounced smile face on it and is a cheery and novel accent to my iced drinks.
