OverpricedDec 07, 2010

Each year my husband and I make about 400 gingerbread cookies for Christmas parties, and to send to family and friends. He saw these and wanted them, so I found them on amazon and ordered them. Sure they were expensive, but for good quality cutters that is not unual. These are plastic...kind of wobbly cheap plastic. They worked (we made the first 150 cookies last night, and included a couple dozen ninjas in batch, but I do not know how well these will hold up. I really had thought that for 15 dollars plus shipping they would have been made of sturdy metal.
Ahh well. Live and learn.

cute and funnyNov 08, 2011
By Samantha I bought these as a gift for my sister, she has a weird obsession with ninjas. The set is cute, but if you use them with a cookie dough that "expands" even slightly while baking you can't tell what the hell these are when they come out of the oven. Best used with old-school gingerbread or shortbread dough, not so great for sugar cookies.

I LOVE THESE!Jan 11, 2011

These cookie cutters are awesome! I thought they were metal, but they're plastic, which I prefer, as they don't rust and they're easier to clean.
My advice is to work with a stiff, chilled dough. For good measure, once the cookies were cut, I laid them on parchment paper on a cookie sheet, then popped them into the freezer for a few minutes to set them before baking.
They came out great! My friends loved them!

Great Cookie CuttersDec 06, 2010

The cutters work great. The limbs are heavy enough to make a solid cookie, even on the dough I rolled out a little too thin. One or two limbs were broken before being put in the oven and came out baked solid.
The recipe on the back is good, and made a nice, not too spicy, cookie that goes well with a little bit of frosting.
I didn't cover the cookies with frosting, but simply frosted the lines, and added some eyes. They look great.

Awesome cookie cuttersNov 30, 2010
By Michelle I originally saw these cookie cutters on a different website, but knew better to check on Amazon prior to purchasing it. Luckily I found them for a better price. My friends and I love ninjas so these cookie cutters are perfect and just in time for the holidays! They even have instructions on the back to show you how to decorate each cookie. Love it!
