Wonderful scent...for three secondsDec 26, 2008
By Sassy Nelson The scent is absolutely fabulous. I get out the tin sometimes and take a deep whiff of it when I'm feeling stressed and it always cheers me up.
Unfortunately it is almost useless as a perfume. It's true the scent disappears almost immediately and I can barely smell it an hour later when I place my nose directly on my wrist!
I would feel that I had wasted my money but discovered that the perfume base make an OK hand cream.

A wonderful fragrance alternative for those who prefer spicy notes to sweet florals or earthy musksJan 07, 2011
By hmoosehair I've been a fan of Pacifica solid perfumes for a few years now - and this new fragrance is one of my all-time favorites. I dislike most perfumes because they are usually too flowery-sweet, too powdery, or too musky. This has made finding perfumes to wear an excersize in frustration for me. Usually I end up liking the mens fragrances better. So I was pretty excited when I found out about this new "Tibetan Mountain Temple" scent. The smell is wonderful -- spicy, slighty citrusy , and a little woodsy all at the same time. The smell isn't strong enough to be overwhelming and lasts quite a while after you apply it. It can also double as a cuticle cream since its so moisturizing. Plus the tin is extra cute with nice design elements and the perfect size for carrying around in your pocket for on-the-go use.

Clean and citrus-fruityJan 17, 2009
By H. Knutson My husband bought this for me tonight, in a bookstore downtown. It has a clean fruity smell. I liked that it goes on easily and light. Not oil or any residue despite it being a solid. I had a grapefruit candle I burned in the summer and it really reminded me of that. Everyone has their own likes in scents, I can only tell you that it goes on and has stayed on.
I tried the spray tester and it was nice too, it stayed on well too.

Kind of Grandmotherly?Jun 20, 2011

I really enjoy Pacifica's line of fragrances, but this one has got to be the worst one. I had lilac bushes in my backyard while growing up, so I was hoping that this would be a nice little scent to use when I'm feeling nostalgic or something, but it smells more like someone's dear grandmother, with a lovely undernote of chemicals.
