I love these candles. They make the whole house smell wonderful and every scent smells great. They last a fairly long time and the tins are so pretty. These are my go to candles, and I think the price is very reasonable.

I am one of those people that likes to have a candle burning when I'm at home ...so I purchase a lot of candles. I have some favorites I've come across along the way and remain loyal to, but I like to keep trying different ones as well. It's always nice to have multiple favorites! (just in recent history I've used candles on the more economical side from Therepe, Seed and Meyers to Yankee all the way up to Votivo and Tocca...just to give you perspective of my ridiculously vast candle background).
I'm really excited to have found Paddywax candles! So far I've tried Poppy and Paperwhite as well as Peony ...which is the one I'm so happy with I'm sharing with the world. I personally didn't enjoy Poppy enough to re-purchase though it didn't overtly offend me. I'd just rather spend that money on a scent I prefer. Paperwhite had pleasant fresh clean scent I liked a lot (but hard to put my finger on to describe it better, sorry). I came around most recently to getting the peony scent.
You know how most candles and perfumes say it's going to smell like a specific flower and it just smells like the artificial version of it that it is (or something worse and not at all what it's supposed to smell like)? Well, this is as close to a peony aroma you're going to get without having the luxury of the actual flowers around! It burns extremely clean and it releases enough scent to enjoy it without being over powering. As far as scent strength ...that was MY experience. Smell can be extremely strong for some while others might not smell it at all. I've noticed that in a lot of candle reviews. Overall, I have NO complaints with this candle. It's in a cute container to boot! It feels like a great compromise price-wise for having a luxury candle like the "top shelf" ones I've had and enjoyed. Because let's face it, with a heavy candle habit, $25-35. a pop is just too much.
I will be buying another peony one before my current one melts down and I'll be trying the Jasmine scent as well because I'm certain it'll have its own wonderful floral aroma. If I could just get the perfect gardenia candle I'd be set! (if anyone has any great tips on that, please, let me know ...the Therepe soy candle in Gardenia smelled lovely but burned black, yikes)

I am very impressed with this candle. It is amazing! I purchased peony scent and it's incredible. I thought the candle would be smaller, but it's quite big and smells great. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in getting an awesome candle.
