This licorice/anise candle has no scent for the huge price tag. It's pretty but not gorgeous and really small like the amount of 2 & 1/2 votive candles . I really and truly need a licorice scented candle & Yankee doesn't make theirs anymore ( discontinued flavor from 10 + years ago ) Don't buy this thinking you'll get a nice anise candle; its ordinary purple in a cheap glass not even hand painted. 2 thumbs down; waste of money.

It's a very unique smell that makes the whole house smell so fresh. It's a strong scent, but not overwhelming. It's my favorite to burn when i have company over.
