First off: I am a self proclaimed "Product junkie", but when you have problem nails, you try a lot of stuff, hoping that someday you find the miracle product...Well I think I may have found it!!! As stated, I could own a store with all the products I have tried... a lot of nail products still contain Formaldehyde or a derivative of it (read the label, if a word contains formaldehyde..it is) and that stuff breaks my nails. All Butter products apparently do not contain the evil "F". This product has made a tremendous difference in my nails after one week of use. Yes it chips a bit, but you also apply it daily for one week. The laquer has a beautiful shine to it. Works for me!!!!

Easy to apply. Peels off nail tips easily. No change in nail qualities after 2 weeks.

Great as a base coat, great at rebuilding nailsNov 10, 2011

If you follow the directions, you would "Apply one coat every day for 7 days, then remove and begin again. Use for one month." So I'm not sure that other reviewer was really following directions. I used it as directed after having polish on my nails constantly for about 6 months, and it really helped to strengthen them. I decided on a whim to use it as an undercoat, and I like this better as an undercoat then their actual base coat (and I do like the regular base coat). I've been using it as a base coat for about a year now, and I'm very happy with it. I feel like it protects my nails from some of the darker colors that I wear, keeping it from staining the nails. When I remove my nail polish, it looks like I haven't been wearing any, as opposed to a faint discoloration of my nail bed.

Horse Power is a find. This product has made my nails stronger than they have ever been. I've just finished my first month of use, following the instructions carefully. I am on my "week off" from using it and really missing having this on my nails. Not only does this product really strengthen the nails, it also gives them a beautiful shine.
After a shower, sometimes the coating starts to peal, but then I correct it and move on.
I'm already counting the days when I can start using it again. I love being proud of my hands!

This product is great while I was using it, but once I stopped for the period of time it instructs you to, my nails became brittle and broke.
